Built by an arborist. Used on real jobs.
ArbDesk was built by a practising UK arborist who got tired of spending evenings writing RAMS from scratch before every commercial job.
I’m Christian — a practising arborist based in the UK
After years of working on council sites, school grounds and principal contractor jobs — the kind of work where your paperwork gets checked before you’re allowed near a tree — it became clear that no existing system actually matched how arborists work on site.
Everything was either too generic, too complicated, or simply not structured the way contractors expect to see it. So over several months, I knuckled down and rebuilt it properly. The result is ArbDesk.
These are the documents I use on real jobs. They’ve been submitted to councils and principal contractors and accepted. I’m not a health and safety consultant — I’m an arborist who got the paperwork sorted, and I built a system so you don’t have to start from scratch.
A working system — not a folder of templates
Whether you’re just starting with commercial work or already operating at that level, the goal is the same: clear, professional documentation that works in the real world.
Structured the way principal contractors and site managers actually review documentation — not how a generic template assumes they do.
Everything is in Word. No locked PDFs, no proprietary software. Add your logo, your details, and adapt each document to the job.
Equipment pre-use checks, site briefing records, COSHH assessments, exclusion zone checks — the records commercial sites expect alongside your RAMS.
Every document is numbered, named consistently, and designed to work together — one system across your whole operation.
Built by arborists — for real work
Every document in the system has been designed based on actual commercial tree work — not theory.
The layout and content reflects how RAMS are reviewed by contractors, how sites operate, and what is expected when submitting documentation professionally.
This isn’t a generic template pack written in an office. These documents were developed on site, submitted to real clients, and refined until they worked consistently.
Everything is in Word. Instant download. Yours to keep and edit indefinitely. No software to learn, no recurring fees, no account to manage.
Because ArbDesk is built and maintained by a practising arborist, the documents reflect how commercial arborist work actually operates — not how it looked five years ago.
